30 days to change your mind

You can return any item within 30 days of your order date, and in every case you have at least 14 days from the day you receive it (your legal right of withdrawal in the EU). You don't need to give a reason.

How to return an item

  1. Use our online withdrawal form, or write to chris@houndandhome.eu with your order number and the item you want to return. You can also use the model withdrawal form below.
  2. We reply with the return address and instructions.
  3. Send the item back within 14 days of telling us, in the condition you received it and ideally in its original packaging.

You may unpack and look at the item as you would in a shop. If it comes back used, dirty or damaged beyond that, we may deduct the loss in value from your refund.

Return postage

For a change-of-mind return, the cost of sending the item back is paid by you.

Refunds

We refund the full price you paid, including delivery, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal. We may wait until the item is back with us or you have sent proof of postage, whichever comes first. The refund goes to the payment method you used, at no cost to you.

Cancelling before dispatch

If your order hasn't been shipped yet, write to us and we cancel it with a full refund.

Damaged or faulty items

If something arrives damaged or turns out to be faulty, tell us as soon as you can at chris@houndandhome.eu, with a photo. We replace or refund the item at no cost to you, return postage included. This doesn't affect your legal guarantee: in the EU, goods must conform to the contract for at least 2 years from delivery (longer where the law of your country provides it).
