Orteo is a bed for dogs who need a little more support, such as older dogs. Inside the cover is a mattress with a core of highly elastic foam, and a removable backrest, held in place by two elastic straps, gives your dog a steady position to lean against.

The cover is 100% polyester over a 100% cotton inner cover, both OEKO-TEX® certified. Orteo comes in sizes S and M.

Best for: dogs who like to lean and need a little more support, such as older dogs.

Delivery. Delivery is included in the price you see; there is no shipping fee at checkout. Orders arrive in 3–8 working days. We deliver to 25 EU countries.

Returns. You have 30 days from your order date to send an item back. To start a return, use our withdrawal form or write to Chris at chris@houndandhome.eu. Please send it back in the condition you received it, ideally in its original packaging. Return postage is paid by you. We refund the full price you paid within 14 days, once the item is back with us or you have sent proof of postage.

Damaged or faulty? Tell Chris as soon as you can, with a photo. A damaged or faulty item is replaced or refunded at no cost to you, return postage included, and the EU 2-year legal guarantee applies as well.

Many covers have a zip and can be taken off for washing. Purré covers are machine washable at 30°C.

Finding the right size
  1. Wait until your dog is asleep in their usual position and measure from the nose to the base of the tail.
  2. Add 15–20 cm. If your dog sleeps curled up, measure the curled circle across its widest point instead.
  3. Compare your number with the sizes on the spec card. These are outer measurements: on beds with a raised edge the lying area is smaller, so allow for the rim.
  4. Mark the size on the floor with masking tape where the bed will go, and check that your dog fits inside the lines.
